About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and guest-focused Reservations Consultant to join our Luxury Property Group in Franschhoek. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing multi-channel bookings, ensuring accuracy in all reservation processes, and delivering exceptional administrative and guest service support within a luxury hospitality environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond promptly and professionally to all emails, messages, and enquiries
- Answer incoming calls courteously and efficiently
- Process and accurately capture all reservations on the PMS system
- Maintain full knowledge of all rates, including rack and contracted STO rates
- Ensure reservation records are correctly maintained and organised
- Work confidently across PMS and external booking platforms (e.g. Apply Below)
- Check and confirm daily arrivals prior to guest check-in
- Follow up on provisional bookings before expiry
- Maintain accurate reservation statistics and reporting
- Manage guest history files and updates
- Maintain strong product knowledge of rooms, facilities, activities, and local offerings
- Stay up to date with promotions, offers, and property logistics
Requirements
- Previous experience in reservations or hospitality advantageous
- Strong administrative, organisational, and time management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal ability
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and reservation systems
