About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper/Accountant to join our team in Johannesburg, Gauteng. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial records and providing expert advice on financial matters. You will work closely with our clients in the industrial automation sector to provide comprehensive bookkeeping services.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform bookkeeping duties, including accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
- Manage financial records using accounting software such as SAP Business One or Sage
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial reports
- Provide expert advice on financial matters to clients
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role
- Strong understanding of financial management principles and practices
- Excellent MS Excel skills, with competency in Word and PowerPoint
- Proactive, self-driven, and able to work independently or within a team
- Experience or knowledge of BEE compliance and reporting is highly advantageous
Qualifications
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Bookkeeping
- Valid South African ID, driver’s licence, and reliable transport
