Job Description
A leading heavy-industry organisation based in Kempton Park is looking for a hands-on Cost Accountant to take ownership of costing processes and operational finance across a high-volume fleet environment. This is your chance to play a vital role behind the scenes — improving cost visibility, supporting fleet performance, and ensuring hard-earned numbers translate into real operational value. You’ll work at the intersection of finance, operations, and workshop performance — where cost accuracy matters, downtime impacts margins, and your analysis drives operational decisions.
? Key Responsibilities
- Manage full costing processes with accuracy and accountability
- Maintain accurate inventory costing and stock management
- Support VAT, month-end, and operational reporting
- Use ERP systems (preferably Syspro) to drive costing accuracy
- Partner with operations and maintenance teams to ensure alignment
? What You Bring
- Degree in Cost Accounting or related field
- 3–5 years’ costing experience (fleet or heavy industry ideal)
- Experience across VAT, costing, and operational financial control
- Solid ERP skills (Syspro advantageous)
