About the Role

Network Finance, a leading manufacturer of high-precision components, is seeking an experienced Cost Accountant to join our team. Our client operates in the water, transport, and energy sectors, requiring exceptional cost management skills to drive excellence and financial discipline.

Key Responsibilities

Calculate standard costs and analyze variances for materials, labour, and overheads.
Manage inventory valuation, stock counts, and reporting.
Track and report on project/job costing and profitability.
Prepare monthly cost reports and support the month-end close.
Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance.
CIMA qualification (or in progress) is highly preferred.
3-5 years of cost accounting experience in a manufacturing or engineering setting.
Advanced skills in ERP systems (e.g., SAP and Syspro) and Excel.

Qualifications

Completed Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or related field.
