About the Role
Hire Resolve, a leading manufacturer in the power distribution and electrical switchboard industry, is seeking an experienced Commercial Estimator to join their team in Wadeville, Germiston. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive estimates for electrical switchboards and power distribution boards.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate and competitive estimates for electrical switchboards and power distribution boards
- Analyse drawings, specifications, and project documentation to determine costings
- Engage with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain pricing and technical information
- Evaluate commercial aspects of tenders, ensuring profitability and risk mitigation
- Work closely with engineering, production, and sales teams to align estimates with operational capabilities
- Review and refine costing models to improve accuracy and competitiveness
Requirements
Minimum of 5 years experience in estimating within electric switchboard or power distribution board manufacturing
Proven commercial estimating experience (not purely quote processing)
Matric qualification (tertiary qualification advantageous but not mandatory)
Salary & Benefits
