Job Description
An established and reputable player in the Manufacturing industry is looking for a detail-oriented and driven Finance Clerk to join their team in Germiston. This is a fantastic opportunity for a finance professional who thrives in a dynamic environment and is looking to grow within a supportive and structured team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process local and international payments (EFT, cash, and foreign currencies)
- Allocate customer receipts in Acumatica and liaise with banks regarding foreign funds
- Capture and reconcile petty cash transactions
- Process and reconcile inter-bank transfers
- Enter routine overhead invoices into Acumatica accurately
- Reconcile bank accounts and investigate discrepancies
- Prepare short-term cash flow forecasts
- Analyse and capture bank statements in line with company policies
- Prepare and compile financial and creditor reports
- Handle queries related to payments, reconciliations, and other finance matters
- Ensure compliance with accounting procedures, internal controls, and relevant financial regulations
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes as required
- Maintain accurate and organized financial records and documentation
Job Experience and Skills Required:
Completed Bcom degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
2–5 years in a financial administration or bookkeeping role
