About the Role

Network Finance, a well-established organisation based in JHB East, is seeking a Financial Accountant to join their finance team. This role is ideal for a candidate with 2–3 years post-articles experience, looking to gain hands-on exposure in financial accounting, reporting, and operational finance. Experience in manufacturing, retail, or logistics will be highly advantageous.

Key Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day accounting activities, including general ledger entries
Prepare and review financial statements and management reports
Handle SARS submissions and fixed asset management
Reconcile creditors and support month-end close processes
Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and internal controls

Requirements

Qualification: BCom + Articles
Experience: 2–3 years post-articles
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and statutory reporting
Experience with creditors reconciliations, fixed assets, and SARS submissions
Sage experience preferred
Detail-oriented, analytical, and process-driven
Good communication and organisational skills
