About the Role

Market Development Representative is a key role in driving business growth and expansion within BevCo. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing relationships with informal retailers, facilitating sales and distribution, and implementing marketing strategies to achieve company objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Actively engage and build relationships with outlets on behalf of BevCo
  • Seed BevCos portfolio into a defined area and large channel of informal retailers
  • Facilitate informal retailers to direct BevCo purchases from local wholesalers, bulk breakers, and/or distributor
  • Manage company assets (refrigeration; signage) per BevCo governance requirements
  • Support sales and distribution targets into informal retail (pull) from local wholesalers, bulk breakers, distributors for the area
  • Assist in execution of the marketing plan for the area as required

Requirements

  • Grade 12 / Matric / NQF level 4
  • Up to 2 years experience in FMCG sales or operational execution
  • Basic knowledge of PC or potential to acquire it
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

Qualifications

  • Completed Grade 12 / Matric / NQF level 4
  • Relevant operational execution experience (FMCG)
