About the Role
The Office and Logistics Manager plays a vital role in optimizing office operations at SOS Children’s Village, ensuring efficiency in daily activities while supporting senior management and the board with meetings, travel, and logistics. This position combines administrative office support with supply chain oversight, requiring strong organizational skills, technical competence, and an understanding of NGO operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage facilities, supplies, budgets, fleet, and staff support to optimize office operations.
- Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling and implementing procedures to optimize workflow and maintain a positive environment.
- Provide procurement, inventory control, shipping, and facility management services.
- Support senior management and the board with meetings, travel, and logistics.
- Maintain a high level of child safeguarding awareness and adhere to SOS Children’s Villages South Africa’s strict policies.
Requirements
- Completed Grade 12 with further studies in administration, logistics, or equivalent.
- Valid South African Driver’s Licence.
- Minimum 5 years relevant experience, with at least 3 years managing a similar portfolio.
- Proven report writing and strong administration skills.
- Understanding of NGO operations, running an office, fleet, and property.
