Key Responsibilities

Procurement Strategy & Cost Management

• Develop and implement purchasing strategies to optimize costs and improve efficiency.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality and supplier reliability.
• Monitor market trends, pricing, and supplier performance to ensure competitive purchasing.

Supplier Relationship Management

• Establish and maintain strong partnerships with key suppliers.
• Negotiate favorable contracts, pricing, and terms to enhance business operations.
• Evaluate supplier performance and ensure on-time delivery of materials.

Inventory & Demand Planning

• Collaborate with production and planning teams to ensure inventory aligns with business needs.
• Monitor stock levels, forecast material requirements, and mitigate supply chain risks.
• Ensure procurement aligns with manufacturing schedules to prevent disruptions.

Compliance & Process Improvement

• Ensure adherence to procurement policies, industry regulations, and ethical sourcing practices.
• Continuously assess and enhance procurement processes to improve efficiency.
• Work closely with finance and operations teams to ensure budget compliance and cost control.

Minimum Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
• Five or more years of experience in purchasing or procurement within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and leadership skills.
• Experience working with ERP systems and procurement software.
• Excellent knowledge of supplier management, contract negotiations, and cost optimization.

As a Purchasing Manager, you will be responsible for the following:

• Create, implement, and enforce policies, procedures, and a procurement charter for purchasing and contract management.
• Ensure that the procurement department operates in line with the International Corporate Responsibility Framework (ICRF).

What Do You Need?:

• Degree, Diploma in related field 
• CIPS will be advantageous
• Leadership skills
• At least 7 years` experience in procurement
