About the Role

As a Sales Agent at Staff Focus, you will play a crucial role in driving sales performance and growing our brand footprint across Gauteng. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong relationships with existing customers, and delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive sales performance by achieving and exceeding monthly and seasonal targets within the allocated region
  • Identify, approach, and onboard new independent retail customers to grow brand footprint
  • Maintain and grow existing customer relationships through regular engagement and account support
  • Revive dormant or previously inactive accounts to re-establish business relationships
  • Plan and execute structured store visit and call cycles
  • Secure, manage, and follow through on customer orders to ensure successful delivery
  • Resolve customer and account-related queries in a timely and professional manner
  • Represent the brand professionally in all customer interactions and retail environments
  • Provide merchandising guidance to retailers to strengthen product placement and brand visibility
  • Monitor competitor activity, customer trends, and regional market developments
  • Provide accurate and timely sales reports, forecasts, and call reports
  • Work in alignment with set performance standards and KPIs

Requirements

  • 2–4 years’ experience in a senior sales role, preferably within consumer goods
  • Strong sales track record with proven ability to meet and exceed targets
  • Excellent relationship-building and client management skills
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify sales opportunities and upsell effectively
  • Excellent verbal communication and negotiation skills
  • Highly self-motivated with the ability to manage a regional portfolio independently
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently, take ownership, and deliver against deadlines
  • Relevant sales or business qualification advantageous but not essential
