About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Lodge Manager to join our client in Limpopo, South Africa, as part of a luxury safari lodge operation. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all daily lodge operations and ensuring exceptional guest experiences within an intimate luxury environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Oversee all daily lodge operations across FOH, Housekeeping, F&B, and Maintenance
• Lead, manage, and inspire a high-performing team
• Ensure exceptional guest experiences and handle VIP hosting
• Manage budgets, cost control, and financial performance
• Maintain lodge standards, presentation, and operational excellence
• Coordinate all departments to ensure seamless service delivery
• Monitor stock control, procurement, and operational efficiency
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and company standards
Requirements
• Diploma or Degree in Hospitality Management or related field
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a senior lodge or luxury hospitality management role
• Strong understanding of all lodge departments
• Computer literate (MS Office, PMS & POS systems)
• Experience with systems such as ResRequest, Semper, or PANstrat advantageous
• Fluent in English (additional languages advantageous)
