About the Role
We are seeking a seasoned Solution Architect to lead our Trade Portfolio delivery, shaping and planning solutions that meet business needs. With 8-10 years of hands-on experience in full lifecycle design and development, you will be responsible for directing system capabilities, priorities, and resources to ensure solutions are developed, maintained, and delivered to standards. You will also synthesize and mature Engineering Practices across Portfolio delivery teams, leading and managing resources to build capacity, capability, and competencies in the Engineering team.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead trade portfolio delivery providing expert engineering skill and directing system capabilities
- Directing solution development, testing, maintenance, network software, operating systems, multi-tier environments, desktop and workgroup software, middleware, server technology, fault-tolerant environments, and development tools
- Create client value through shaping end-to-end delivery and management of technical solutions
- Provide expert engineering leadership to focus on building capability that produces predictable, reliable, and sustainable solutions
- Establish clear content authority in collaboration with System Architects, Product Managers, and Product Owners to align teams to the system mission and vision
Requirements
- At least 8-10 years hands-on experience with trade-related products, including Vanilla Trade and Supply Chain Financing
- Strong understanding of trade banking concepts, including trade SWIFT message structures, credit principles such as direct and contingent liabilities, and accounting concepts like accrual and amortization
- Broad experience of application development methodologies, database methodology, programming languages, data base concepts, IT infrastructure, and operations
- Proven track record to a broad spectrum of stakeholders, including senior executives, knowledge of Agile and Lean frameworks, methods, and practices
Qualifications
- Information Technology studies
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
