About the Role

Our client, a boutique hospitality and travel company, is seeking a dynamic Sales Executive to join their team. As a key member of the sales team, you will be passionate about travel, skilled in building client relationships, and driven to achieve sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develops and maintains good relationships with key clients, tour operators, travel agents, and DMC’s.
  • Assist with the research and establishment of a sales plan to increase revenue, bednights, and ADR for properties.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations.
  • Comfortable handling the full sale cycle from cold calling to confirmation of booking.
  • Contract negotiation, implementation, and administration.
  • Ensure contracts are renewed for existing clientele.
  • Cross sell properties within the Company Portfolio to increase revenue and grow market share.
  • Integrated approach and effective communication to relevant stakeholders both internal and external to improve service offering.
  • Account Management – Develop a clear understanding of each client’s requirements and utilize the information to retain and grow business.
  • Host site inspections and FAM trips where necessary.
  • Participate in relevant trade shows, networking events, and industry functions.
  • Customer presentations and training, online and in person.
  • Integrated collaborative approach working with all stakeholders.
  • Administration – Utilize CRM tools or filing systems to retain information and grow understanding and build upon the database.
  • Update/ Maintain all database/contact lists.
  • Prepare reports on competitors, trends, and sales activities and monitor results monthly, as well as on request.
  • Assist with preparing reports for the board.

Requirements

  • Recognized Sales Qualification (ideally)
  • 3 – 5 years’ experience in a similar position
  • Valid Driver’s License and Vehicle
  • Valid passport
  • Own laptop and good internet connection
  • Willing to travel nationally and internationally when required
