About the Role

Laviecouriers is seeking sales ladies to join our team in Johannesburg. As a key member of our business development team, you will be responsible for proactively identifying and securing new business clients to increase our shipping volume. You will act as the “hunter” in the courier and logistics industry, bringing in new corporate, e-commerce, and retail accounts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prospecting and Lead Generation: Actively searching for businesses that require courier services through networking, cold calling, and researching potential clients.
  • Building a Sales Pipeline: Identifying decision-makers within target organizations and building relationships to secure new contracts.
  • Presenting Solutions: Creating customized proposals and presentations that address a client’s specific shipping, logistics, and supply chain needs.
  • Closing Deals: Negotiating contract terms, rates, and service agreements to secure new business and increase revenue.
  • Market Research: Monitoring market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments to identify new growth opportunities.
  • Account On boarding: Collaborating with operations teams to ensure a smooth transition and implementation of new client accounts.
  • Relationship Management: Maintaining relationships with new and existing clients to ensure satisfaction and identify up selling opportunities.

Requirements

  • Experience: Generally no experience is required as potential candidates will be trained. However, experience in B2B sales, specifically within the courier, logistics, or express freight industry, will be an advantage.
  • Skills: Strong negotiation, communication, presentation, and networking skills.
  • Tools: Proficiency in English and any other official language.

Qualifications

No formal education or certifications are required for this role. However, a Matric certificate is preferred.
