About the Role

The Compilation Assistant Manager role offers an ideal opportunity for individuals with completed articles to leverage their skills and experience in a leadership capacity, working closely with clients and colleagues to deliver high-quality financial statement compilations.

Key Responsibilities

Take responsibility for client’s portfolios
Compilation of Financial Statements
Provisional and Income Tax Calculations
On-the-job training for trainee accountants
Meet monthly deadlines in a timeously manner
Self-motivation, excellent communication with clients and colleagues, teamworking and interpersonal skills
Detail reviews on team’s work performed
Reconciliations of input/output VAT to monthly trial balance

Requirements

Com Accounting Degree
Management experience or relevant managerial experience
Fully bilingual (Afrikaans and English)
CaseWare or Draft Worx experience
Must be able to work under pressure
Knowledge of IFRS or IFRS for SME’s
Must be accurate and attention to detail
MS Office VAT & Income tax knowledge

Salary & Benefits

R22 000 – R24 000 (depending on experience)
