About the Role

We are seeking three experienced Sales Representatives to join our team in Cape Town City Centre, responsible for driving sales growth and achieving budget targets for our roller door and shutter products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute customer-specific sales plans and strategies to attain budget targets and company sales goals.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive action plans and milestones to ensure the achievement of the company’s sales objectives and goals.
  • Execute against approved sales and profit targets as per the budget.
  • Develop strategic plans to ensure cost-effective execution of the sales plans, including market development activities in line with budget expectations.
  • Research and analyze industry, markets, and competition to make informed strategic decisions.
  • Visit new and potential customers to grow new business.
  • Work closely with warehouse staff to ensure that all orders are dispatched on time and in full.
  • Communicate frequently with suppliers regarding product orders and new product developments.
  • Analyze problematic situations and occurrences and provide solutions to ensure the company’s continued growth.
  • Visit key customers to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Maintain the project pipeline database.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years experience in sales, preferably in the industrial or construction products sector.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a strong work ethic.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Valid drivers license and willingness to travel within assigned territory.
  • Proven new business development and sales track record.
