About the Role

As a Warehouse Supervisor at Objective Personnel in Germiston, you will be responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient stock management, and maintaining a safe working environment. You will work closely with warehouse staff, suppliers, and logistics teams to ensure seamless delivery of goods to customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, unloading, storage, picking, packing, dispatch, and general housekeeping.
• Organise and optimise warehouse space to ensure stock and customer orders are stored safely, securely, and are easily accessible.
• Maintain the warehouse, kitchen, and sanitary areas in a clean, tidy, and hygienic condition.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, security, and company procedures, including the safe storage of chemicals and other regulated items.
• Supervise warehouse staff, allocate work, provide training and guidance, and monitor productivity, accuracy, and performance.
• Manage inventory accuracy by recording stock movements on warehouse systems and updating warehouse lists, GRNs, returns, delivery notes, and POD records.
• Monitor stock levels and packing materials, and arrange replenishment to avoid stockouts and workflow interruptions.
• Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments with Procurement, Logistics, Expediting, suppliers, couriers, and customers, including supporting expediting activities to ensure ontime delivery of critical orders.
• Book in orders and provide accurate shipment information, including weights, dimensions, COO, MSDS, inspection documents, licences, and other dispatch paperwork where required.
• Support courier and freight collections, including customer-requested collections, inspections, and related documentation.
• Identify and escalate over-deliveries, under-deliveries, shortages, returns, out-of-gauge items, and other operational risks before receipt or dispatch.
• Manage the day-to-day care and planned maintenance of warehouse equipment, machinery, and vehicles.
• Produce daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports and statistics, and escalate corrective actions where targets, service levels, or compliance are at risk.

Requirements

• Valid Code 10 Driver’s Licence
• Experience in a warehouse, logistics, expediting, and supply chain environment
• Computer Literate, including Microsoft Office and Warehouse Management Systems
• Supervisory or team-leading experience
• Forklift certification and knowledge of safety regulations would be advantageous
