Job Summary
Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking a Senior Chef de Partie for a prestigious luxury property group based in Hazyview. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate and experienced culinary professional to join a high-performing kitchen team and contribute to delivering top-tier dining experiences.
Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and present high-quality dishes within the assigned section
-
Assist the Sous Chef and Executive Chef in daily kitchen operations
-
Ensure all food preparation meets company standards and guest expectations
-
Monitor portion control, waste reduction, and food cost management
-
Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in all kitchen areas
-
Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new menu items and seasonal offerings
-
Supervise and train junior kitchen staff when required
-
Assist with stock rotation, ordering, and inventory management
-
Adhere to health and safety regulations and food safety standards
Minimum Requirements:
-
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role in a professional kitchen
-
Relevant culinary qualification or certification preferred
-
Strong knowledge of food preparation, presentation, and kitchen operations
-
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
-
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
-
Strong communication and teamwork abilities
-
Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays
-
Must reside in or be willing to relocate to the Hazyview area (live-out position)
