Job Description

Our client is a high-volume wholesale and retail distributor within the South African personal care and beauty sector. Operating through a national branch network, they focus on providing value-driven products to a large-scale independent reseller market

This office-based role is designed for a modern, creative and commercially-minded marketing professional who can take full ownership of daily brand execution. You will bridge the gap between creative execution, campaign building, and digital customer engagement, ensuring all output supports the company’s commercial movement. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Personally create and execute marketing output, including organic social content, paid ad creatives, and promotional campaigns.
  • Develop strong commercial copy for ad headlines, promotional hooks, launch messaging, and calls-to-action.
  • Manage the daily brand presentation across the website, including banners, content updates, and SKU launches.
  • Oversee digital customer interactions via social media (Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok), inbox responses, and WhatsApp, assisting with product enquiries and basic sales conversions.
  • Support monthly campaign planning and execution for product launches and seasonal promotions.
  • Brief photographers and videographers, ensuring all assets are prepared in the correct formats for various campaign angles.
  • Collaborate with external paid media specialists by providing fresh creative refreshes and multiple ad versions.


Requirements

  • Strong proficiency in Canva is essential; Adobe Creative Suite experience is beneficial.
  • Proven ability to personally create high-quality marketing content and ad layouts.
  • Strong written English skills with a focus on commercial copywriting.
  • Practical experience using AI tools for copy generation and creative variations.
  • Excellent layout judgement and the ability to simplify designs for maximum impact.
  • A background in e-commerce, retail, or fast-moving consumer products is highly advantageous.
