Job Description
Our client in the FMCG Industry is currently looking to employ an experienced Business Intelligence Developer to join their team based in Humansdorp.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in IT / Computer Science / Data Management / Statistics / Related Field
- Minimum 5 years hands-on BI development experience
- Proven experience with: SSIS, SQL Server, SSAS, Qlik Sense, Power BI, NPrinting
- Advanced T-SQL
- SQL Server performance tuning
- ETL development and scheduling
- SSAS Tabular modelling
- Qlik Sense scripting and dashboards
- Power BI modelling and DAX
- NPrinting design and automation
- Data warehousing and dimensional modelling
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain SSIS ETL pipelines from multiple data sources
- Manage data extraction, transformation, and loading into SQL Server
- Ensure reliable data flows and system efficiency
- Design, develop, and optimise SQL Server databases for analytics and reporting
- Perform query tuning and performance optimisation
- Maintain database integrity and security
- Build and maintain SSAS Tabular Models
- Develop KPIs, measures, hierarchies, and security roles
- Support dimensional modelling and data warehousing best practices
- Develop and support Qlik Sense dashboards and applications
- Build Power BI datasets, dashboards, and reports
- Deliver user-friendly and impactful business insights
- Design and manage NPrinting reports
- Maintain scheduling, templates, and automated distribution
- Gather requirements from business users
- Translate reporting needs into BI solutions
- Communicate technical outputs clearly to non-technical users
- Monitor production BI environments
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues proactively
- Maintain data accuracy, documentation, and governance standards
