About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled FMCG Depot Manager to join our client’s team in Empangeni. As a key member of the supply chain management, you will be responsible for overseeing daily depot operations, managing inventory, and ensuring efficient despatch and logistics.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily depot operations, including inventory control and despatch
• Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency and productivity
• Lead and develop a team of depot staff to achieve business objectives
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
• Maintain accurate records and reports on depot performance

Requirements

• Grade 12 (Matric) required; tertiary qualification in Business, Supply Chain, or related field is advantageous
• Minimum of 5 years experience in sales, logistics, or depot management; entrepreneurial experience highly preferred
• Strong understanding of despatch and logistics operations
• Proven ability to lead and develop a team
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
