Job Summary
Our client, a market leader and operating out of Humansdorp, is currently seeking to employ an experienced Finished Goods Inventory Manager.

Requirements:
- Batchelor’s degree in Supply chain, Logistics, Finance or related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in inventory or warehouse management, preferably within the FMCG sector.
- Strong knowledge of WMS systems, with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central being highly preferred.
- Proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools is essential.
- Understanding of inventory control principles and best practices.
- Analytical and detail-oriented mindset.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication, presentation skills and cross-functional collaboration.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- A valid Code 8 (EB) driver’s license.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and control finished goods inventory across all locations.
- Develop and maintain inventory policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with production, demand planning and logistics teams to align inventory with sales forecasts and customer demands through cross-functional collaboration.
- Analyze data to identify trends, risks, and improvement areas.
- Maintain accurate records via cycle counts and reconciliations.
- Oversee shelf life and apply FIFO practices.
- Support sales and marketing on promotions and launches with inventory planning.
- Lead inventory projects and process improvements.
- Report on inventory KPIs and performance metrics.
- Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and quality standards.
