Job Purpose The Territory Manager will be responsible for the end-to-end operational, financial, and commercial performance of multiple service stations. This includes driving profitability, ensuring operational excellence, maintaining brand standards, and leading site-level management teams to achieve business objectives. Key Responsibilities – Manage and optimise performance across multiple fuel service stations – Drive operational efficiency, compliance, and service excellence across sites – Oversee forecourt, convenience store, and add-on retail/QSR operations – Analyse financial performance including budgets, margins, and profitability – Implement cost control initiatives and identify revenue growth opportunities – Lead and support site managers and operational teams – Ensure compliance with HSE, safety, and regulatory requirements – Manage customer service standards and resolve operational escalations – Oversee maintenance and asset management across sites – Manage labour structures, staff performance, and workplace discipline – Develop and maintain supplier and stakeholder relationships Minimum Requirements – Matric (Grade 12) essential – Minimum 25 years senior management experience (Operations / Area / Regional role) – Proven experience in fuel retail / service station environment – Multi-site management experience advantageous – Strong financial acumen (P&L, budgets, margins, cost control) – Experience in convenience retail and/or QSR operations – Strong understanding of labour relations and staff management – Valid drivers licence and own reliable transport – Willingness to travel extensively Competencies – Strong operational leadership – Commercial and financial acumen – Problem-solving and decision-making ability – High emotional intelligence and resilience – Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment – Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
