About the Role
An established Wealth Management firm in Bedfordview is seeking an experienced Accountant to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a full accounting portfolio, handling SARS interactions, and overseeing payrolls.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage full accounting functions for multiple entities
- Prepare management accounts and annual financial statements
- Handle SARS submissions and ensure compliance with tax regulations
- Oversee and process payrolls accurately and on time
- Review and supervise junior accounting staff
- Support management with reporting, reconciliations, and audit preparation
Requirements
- 10 years relevant accounting experience
- Auditing background essential
- Proficient in Sage, Sage One, and QuickBooks
- Proven experience dealing directly with SARS (VAT, PAYE, Income Tax, etc.)
- Payroll administration experience
- Strong analytical, communication, and supervisory skills
