About the Role
Hire Resolve’s Client is seeking an experienced Actuarial Manager specializing in Life Insurance to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will oversee projects related to life insurance products, ensuring accurate risk assessment, pricing, and capital management to uphold the financial health of the organization and provide clients with valuable insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead actuarial evaluations and analyses for life insurance products, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
- Develop and maintain pricing models and reserve calculations for life insurance products.
- Oversee the preparation and presentation of actuarial reports and insights for internal stakeholders and external clients.
- Review and validate the actuarial assumptions and methodologies used in product pricing and valuation.
- Contribute to the design and implementation of IFRS 17 compliant models.
- Engage in annual ORSA processes and risk assessment initiatives.
- Collaborate with finance and risk management teams to ensure cohesive strategies in managing life insurance portfolios.
- Continuous improvement of actuarial processes, methodologies, and technical skills within the team.
Requirements
- Advanced proficiency in actuarial software and MS Office suite.
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills with a focus on life insurance metrics.
- Comprehensive understanding of regulatory frameworks including IFRS 17 and relevant insurance legislations.
- Experience in pricing models and reserving techniques for life insurance products.
Qualifications
- Fellow Actuary with specialization in Life Insurance.
- Minimum of 3-5 years actuarial experience in the life insurance domain.
