About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Automotive Windscreen Technician Fitter to join our team in Midrand, Gauteng. As a key member of our fitment centre, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of quality and safety in the installation of automotive glass on a variety of vehicle makes and models.

Key Responsibilities

  • Remove and install automotive glass (windscreens, rear glass, and side windows) on a variety of vehicle makes and models
  • Conduct chip repairs and minor glass restorations where possible
  • Ensure all installations are completed according to safety standards and manufacturer specifications
  • Handle adhesives and fitting equipment correctly and safely
  • Inspect vehicles for any damage prior to installation and report findings
  • Maintain a clean and organised work environment
  • Provide excellent customer service and professional interaction with clients
  • Complete job cards and administrative documentation accurately

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an Automotive Windscreen Fitter or similar role
  • Strong knowledge of automotive glass fitting techniques and tools
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
  • Valid driver’s license (essential)
  • Good communication skills
  • Physically fit and able to handle manual tasks

Qualifications

  • Certification or formal training in automotive glass installation (advantageous but not essential)
