About the Role
A leading multi-sector consultancy is seeking an experienced BIM Manager to lead the implementation, optimisation, and oversight of BIM processes, standards, and technologies across multidisciplinary engineering projects. This permanent opportunity supports complex infrastructure and building developments in Johannesburg or Durban or Cape Town.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enforce BIM Execution Plans (BEP) and project-specific protocols
- Define and implement BIM standards aligned with company and client requirements
- Oversee BIM workflows across multidisciplinary teams (Civil, Structural, MEP, etc.)
- Ensure models meet required Levels of Development (LOD) and coordination standards
- Manage model federation, clash detection, and coordination processes
- Provide training and technical support on BIM tools including Revit, Civil 3D, and Navisworks
Requirements
- BIM certification Autodesk Certified Professional Revit Structures
- Minimum 8 years experience using Revit Structures in a professional environment
- Experience with BIM 360 (Documents and Design)
- Knowledge of SANS 10400, SANS 10100, and SANS 10162
- Strong experience working within multidisciplinary engineering projects
Qualifications
- Engineering-related qualification advantageous
