About the Role
The Chief Liaison Officer & Company Secretary will provide high-level support to the Managing Director, ensuring seamless stakeholder engagement, efficient operations, and effective governance. With a strong background in accounting and stakeholder liaison, you will play a critical role in driving business success.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide executive support to the Managing Director, including calendar management, reporting, presentations, and coordination of strategic initiatives
- Act as liaison between the MD, senior management, Board of Directors, and external stakeholders
- Coordinate and manage board, management, and operational meetings, including agendas, minutes, and board packs
- Support operational efficiencies through reporting, analysis, and process improvement initiatives
- Manage stakeholder relationships, communications, and corporate hospitality standards
- Oversee company secretarial duties, including shareholder records, statutory compliance, CIPC filings, and AGM coordination
- Administer trust and governance requirements in line with regulatory standards
- Support corporate social responsibility initiatives and donation processes
- Provide financial and analytical support to inform executive decision-making
- Contribute to strategic planning and ensure effective implementation of governance and operational processes.
Requirements
- Chartered Accountant (CA (SA))
- Minimum of 3 years relevant working experience
