About the Role

As a Business Analyst at Edgexec (Pty) Ltd, you will shape the way products are built and experienced by real users, translating business needs into clear, actionable requirements that guide design and engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather and document business and user requirements, including user stories and acceptance criteria
- Conduct gap analyses and feasibility assessments to support solution design
- Support product discovery through research, user feedback, and market analysis
- Analyse data and customer insights to identify trends, pain points, and opportunities
- Create process flows, wireframes, and journey maps to visualise solutions
- Facilitate workshops, sprint planning sessions, and backlog grooming
- Act as a key liaison between business, product, and technical teams
- Support testing, validation, and post-launch performance monitoring
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related field
- 5+ years experience in business analysis, product operations, or product support
- Experience within fintech, SaaS, or technology-driven environments
- Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies
- Proficiency in tools such as Jira and Confluence
- Experience with data analysis tools including Excel, SQL, or Google Analytics
- Familiarity with UX principles and wireframing tools such as Figma or Balsamiq
- Strong analytical thinking with the ability to translate complexity into clear requirements
