Job Description

Location: Bellville, Cape Town, Western Cape Requirements: 24 years’ experience in Social Media Marketing, Digital Content Creation, Content Marketing, or Marketing Communications Excellent English writing, editing, and proofreading skills Proven experience creating engaging social media content and digital marketing campaigns Experience managing LinkedIn business pages and social media communities Experience using content scheduling platforms such as Buffer, Later, Hootsuite, or similar tools Proficiency in Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar graphic design software Basic video editing skills including video trimming, subtitles, transitions, and social media video creation Experience with email marketing platforms such as Campaign Monitor, Mailchimp, or similar Basic WordPress content management experience Elementor experience advantageous Understanding of social media analytics and audience engagement strategies Strong organisational, communication, and time-management skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously Experience within technology, infrastructure, engineering, or transportation industries advantageous Valid South African passport or ability to obtain one Reliable transport and ability to work from the Bellville office daily Willingness to work adjusted hours to collaborate with international teams Key Responsibilities: Manage day-to-day social media community engagement across company platforms Monitor and respond to comments, mentions, and audience interactions Build and grow engagement on LinkedIn and other social media platforms Support the launch and management of LinkedIn newsletters and audience growth initiatives Create, schedule, and publish social media content according to the content calendar Write engaging short-form marketing copy for digital platforms Design social media graphics, marketing visuals, and branded content Create and edit short-form videos for social media and marketing campaigns Provide live event marketing support for conferences, webinars, and corporate events Build, test, and manage email marketing campaigns Assist with email template creation, audience segmentation, and campaign reporting Conduct social listening and monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging topics Collaborate on content planning and content strategy development Maintain and update content calendars Publish and update website content using WordPress and Elementor Assist with SEO implementation and content optimisation Ensure all content remains on-brand, professional, and aligned with company objectives Work closely with local and international stakeholders to execute marketing initiatives How to Apply:
