About the Role
Ithemba Property Management is seeking a skilled Credit Vetting Clerk to join our team in Johannesburg. As a key member of our credit vetting department, you will be responsible for conducting residential credit vetting by assessing lease applications, verifying documentation, and making credit decisions in line with company policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct credit vetting and assessments for residential lease applications
- Collect, verify, and authenticate required tenant documentation
- Liaise with the sales team to obtain outstanding information and meet turnaround times
- Identify and manage risks during the vetting process
- Resolve credit vetting queries and provide timely feedback
- Compile and submit credit vetting reports
- Complete credit vetting administration, filing, and document scanning
Requirements
- NQF Level 4 qualification (essential)
- Minimum of 2 years experience in credit vetting
- Property industry experience (advantageous)
Qualifications
- Completed NQF Level 4 qualification in a relevant field
