About the Role

The Digital Marketing and Technology Specialist will be responsible for assisting with implementing the digital marketing, client services and communication strategy, electronic branding, and social media strategy using a range of software and digital communication tools and utilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Research and evaluate new digital marketing technology trends and identify new optimization opportunities.
  • Keep abreast of market developments and trends and actively network the brand in the digital space as well as providing support to external digital suppliers/strategists to apply approved strategies.
  • Working with and supporting business unit leaders and Marketing and advice on how to increase and maximize client relationships through the use of digital platforms, balancing the marketing objective and client user experience.
  • Ensure that implementation of any platform and element is in line with Digital strategy, communication strategy and IT Strategy/platform.
  • Obtain requirements and draft specification for the development of the digital platforms.
  • Testing of the development of the digital platforms as well as configuration of 3rd party digital platforms.
  • Implementation and management of the digital media platforms and elements responsibilities.
  • Provide input and oversight across all Marketing/digital projects to ensure consistent quality delivery of digital elements and platforms, ROI.
  • Implementation and publishing of the required digital elements on any Digital media platforms, as required by various Marketing projects and resources.
  • Ensure proper maintenance methodology according to SLA’s and security on digital media platforms and supporting servers, systems.
  • Provide first level of support on the various digital platforms to the Marketing team and internal personnel.
  • Manage the relationship with approved outsourcing partners
  • Assist in the development of digital marketing strategy and manage subsequent projects to support the strategy.
  • Perform the delivery/distribution of all bulk e-mails/e-mail campaigns as required by Marketing and reporting on effectiveness of email campaigns.
  • Participate in public advertising campaigns (radio, webinars, tv, etc.), by assisting in the delivering material for the campaigns, monitoring and reporting back on their effect on the digital platforms.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years’ experience working in a high-demand, fast-paced environment where the ability to manage and nurture client relationships is critical to the overall success and growth of the business.
  • Digital marketing certifications or Degree

Qualifications

  • Formal education/certifications (Bachelor’s, LLB, Matric, etc.)
