About the Role
BGA Recruitment is seeking an experienced Events Manager to join our team in Johannesburg. As a key member of our golf events team, you will be responsible for managing event administration and communication functions, working closely with the account director and golf operations team to deliver seamless golf event management services to our corporate clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the guest RSVP and communications function for golf events including sending of invitations, managing databases, corresponding with the invitees, liaising directly with the client to provide updates.
- Communication and planning with the event suppliers and venues.
- Budget management and reconciliation.
- Working on-site at events with the team.
- Event status presentations to both the event director and the client.
- Maintain all event information pertaining to each and every event by saving and filing online.
- Ensure the social media manager receives the required content timeously.
- Assist the company directors with other company related admin.
Requirements
- Strong admin and organization skills
- 5 years of experience in Event Management
- Excellent project and time management skills
- Ability to work weekends and evenings
Qualifications
- Matric
- Diploma in Events Management or equivalent
