About the Role

A leading electrical equipment manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Executive Secretary to provide comprehensive administrative and secretarial support to senior executives in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth coordination of meetings, reports, travel arrangements, and stakeholder engagements within a dynamic corporate environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Arrange flight and accommodation bookings
  • Take and compile minutes of meetings
  • Assist with function arrangements and hosting
  • Host visitors and coordinate executive engagements
  • Prepare presentations and executive documentation
  • Assist with compiling Executive Committee (Exco) reports
  • Manage and coordinate executive diaries
  • Maintain and update master documentation
  • Perform additional reasonable administrative duties as required

Requirements

  • Matric (Grade 12)
  • Certificate in Office Administration and/or Business Administration
  • Minimum 3 years experience in a secretarial or Personal Assistant role
  • Strong computer literacy (MS Windows, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Valid drivers licence
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, including formal communication and presentations
  • Strong sense of urgency and customer service orientation
  • Willingness to work beyond normal office hours when required
