Key Responsibilities Install, commission, maintain, and repair industrial power tools, automation systems, and instrumentation equipment. Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical, mechanical, PLC, and instrumentation faults. Configure, update, and optimise systems using PLC software . Conduct calibrations and testing of instrumentation devices and sensors. Provide technical support and training to clients on equipment functionality and safe operation. Perform routine inspections to ensure system performance, accuracy, and compliance. Complete service reports, maintenance documentation, and job cards accurately. Collaborate with internal technical teams to resolve advanced system issues. Local and international travel for installations, commissioning, and client support. Minimum Requirements Matric / Grade 12 Essential A Degree in Electronic, Robotics or Mechatronics engineering PLC Programming is essential. 23 years proven experience as a Field Service Technician in the automation environment.
