About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Controller to join our team in Johannesburg, responsible for managing the financial aspects of our inventory management system. The successful candidate will be expected to travel to various branches and sites, with some flexibility required.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage stock control across all branches (some travel required)
- Conduct rolling stock counts and update Syspro records
- Identify and implement corrective actions after stocktakes
- Calculate and manage replenishment for international parts
- Oversee inventory at our main off-site warehouse
- Support the import clearing process
- Process returns to foreign suppliers
- Maintain minimum stock levels and create stock codes
- Assist with finance-related inventory management and special projects
Requirements
- Matric (finance-related qualification is a plus)
- Minimum 5 years relevant experience
- High energy and strong customer-service mindset
- Code 8 drivers licence
- Advanced Excel & strong Word proficiency
- Syspro experience an advantage
- Excellent communication skills
- Accuracy with figures and strong attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and manage pressure
Qualifications
No formal qualifications are required, but a finance-related qualification is a plus.
Salary & Benefits
The basic salary is up to R 24 000 per month, depending on experience. A provident fund of 7% is provided by the company, with the option to belong to medical aid or Discovery, with a maximum contribution of 50% (up to R 2400).
