About the Role
We are seeking a seasoned Financial Strategist to join our team in Johannesburg. As a key member of our finance function, you will be responsible for driving business growth and profitability through effective financial management, risk minimization, and strategic planning.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieving annual business financial targets through effective debt management and proactive risk minimization
- Manage and maintain strong supplier relationships, ensuring that all supplier accounts are accurate, current, and well managed
- Engage with external clients to ensure consistent and high-quality service delivery
- Oversee cost management, including financial operations, reconciliations, invoicing, and supplier payments
- Build and maintain a strong financial foundation to balance cost, capacity, and service level requirements
- Drive revenue management and maximization initiatives
- Take ownership of self-management and performance accountability
- Lead and support performance management and development initiatives within the finance function
Requirements
- 58 years proven experience in cost accounting or a similar financial role
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office, with strong expertise in Excel
- Strong analytical, organizational, and stakeholder management skills
Qualifications
- BCom in Accounting or equivalent qualification
