Johannesburg: Fixed Income Analyst – Finance Services – R600K – R300K posted by Hire Resolve

An innovative financial services firm is currently in search of a skilled Fixed Income Analyst to join their dynamic team in Johannesburg.

Responsibilities

• Research, analyze, and interpret macro-economic variables for investment decisions
• Communicate insights to the Fixed Income Portfolio Management and broader Investment team
• Value fixed income securities and interest rate derivatives
• Analyze bond yield curves and instrument sensitivity
• Monitor risk-adjusted returns, optimize portfolios, and enhance credit performance
• Assist in trading and administration of fixed income securities

Requirements

• 3-5 years in fixed interest, credit research, or risk management
• 3+ years fixed income experience (buy side) with proven investment track record
• Bachelors Degree in finance, economics, or related field
• Ideally pursuing CFA or FRM
• Proficient in Excel, Bloomberg, and risk systems
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

• Salary: R300K/yr – R600K/yr, negotiable
