Job Description
Our client has an EE opportunity available for a General Manager.
Requirements:
- Professional qualification of BSc. Eng, BTech, NHD Eng, or equivalent PMP certification.
- MBA would be advantageous.
- Pr Eng or equivalent would be advantageous.
- 7 to 10+ years management experience.
- 5 to 7 years in a Project environment.
Responsibilities:
- Implement a Project Management Office system.
- Ensure appropriate skills for Planning, Purchasing and Project Administration are available and deployed to each project.
- Manage the Project Managers at an appropriate level of detail that is established from a knowledge of strengths, weaknesses, project size and risk profile.
- Raise issues that threaten a projects safety, technical, quality or program delivery.
- Ensure that reporting is both regular and where necessary immediate on all aspects that senior leadership should be aware of.
- Support the PM team on all controversial matters.
- Liaise with all Stakeholders to achieve Operational Excellence and strong relationships, Company to Company, Colleague to Colleague.
- Monitor progress across all projects and adjusts strategies or approaches.
- Ensure that the projects progress in accordance with contractual obligations, complies with regulations and internal Company policies.
- Ensure continuous risk identification, mitigation and strategic implementation to avoid/reduce implications.
- Assesses client feedback reports for satisfaction and areas of improvement.
- Identify, develop and grow critical project skills in support of future growth objectives.
- Assist and help set the transformation requirements and strategic priorities for the business unit.
