About the Role
Deka Minas (Pty) Ltd is seeking an experienced ICT teacher to join their team in Doha, Qatar. This role offers a unique opportunity for international teaching and career advancement.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and deliver English instruction using effective teaching techniques and strategies.
- Prepare engaging lesson plans and adapt teaching methods to meet diverse student needs.
- Provide constructive feedback on students’ oral and written work.
- Actively listen to and address student concerns, promoting a positive learning environment.
- Build students confidence and facilitate their academic growth.
- Participate in department meetings, professional development workshops, and curriculum planning.
- Collaborate with colleagues and parents to enhance student learning experiences.
Requirements
- Must be a South African citizen (RSA Passport required).
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education (B.Ed.) with a specialization in ICT.
- Experience teaching the British Curriculum is an advantage.
- Minimum of 5 years of teaching experience in the relevant subject area.
- Age range: 23 to 58 years old.
- Strong communication skills and effective classroom management abilities.
- Adaptability and cultural sensitivity, with a willingness to embrace Qatar’s customs and norms.

No formal education or certifications are required for this position.
Salary & Benefits
Competitive salary package – Tax Exemption, Housing Allowance, Medical Insurance, Flight Tickets (Annual Return), 2-Year Contract with Renewal Option.
