About the Role
A leading poultry company situated in Gauteng is urgently seeking an experienced Inventory and Logistics Coordinator to join their team. We are looking for a highly skilled professional with a strong background in logistics and inventory management to manage our day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage customer requirements on a day-to-day basis.
- Investigate claims and queries and formalise feedback to close off.
- Daily inventory balancing of Key Customers.
- High control of Inventory to ensure accurate reporting and feedback.
- Participate and lead logistics related projects, including cost management.
- Support and Liaise with operations team on order and supply Management.
- Propose and investigate cost saving initiatives.
- Prepare orders and assign responsibilities to teams on a daily basis.
- Ensure that all logistics paperwork is prepared accurately by team and produced in a timely manner.
- Ensure team books required transport with service providers on a daily basis.
- Prepare daily reports to clients.
- Prepare weekly timesheets for sign-off by department managers.
- Stock controlling and rotation.
- Any other support as per business demands.
- Accurate recording of Outsource Labour costs.
- Prepare, organise and accurately report on Stock Counts.
Requirements
- 3 years experience in a similar role and environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics or equivalent.
