About the Role
We are seeking an experienced IT Service Delivery Manager to lead our Infrastructure team in Johannesburg, responsible for ensuring the reliability, security, and alignment of infrastructure services with business needs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT Security and Infrastructure, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to foster strong relationships with stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensures that all infrastructure-related services are reliable, secure, and aligned with business needs
- Involves vendor management, stakeholder engagement, service-level compliance, and strategic IT planning to drive operational excellence
- Oversees the day-to-day operations of IT infrastructure services, ensuring optimal performance and availability
- Ensures adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Operational Level Agreements (OLAs)
- Leads incident, problem, and change management related to infrastructure services when assigned
- Works with Head of Infrastructure and business stakeholders to ensure infrastructure services align with organizational goals
- Manages contracts and relationships with third-party service providers, ensuring quality service delivery
- Negotiates vendor agreements and ensures compliance with cost-effective procurement strategies alongside Deputy CEO and Head of Infrastructure
- Ensures transparent communication of IT service-related updates and improvements
Requirements
- Matric (essential)
- Degree in Information Technology (advantageous)
- IT Security and Infrastructure experience
- Formal qualifications in ITIL or ITSM
- A, N, Security related certification
- Knowledge of ITIL frameworks, service management principles, and industry best practices
