About the Role
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-driven Junior Administration Assistant to join our dynamic Private Clients team in Johannesburg. This role will support the Operational Head in ensuring seamless back-office administration and compliance, playing a key role in daily operations and client record-keeping.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate client records and databases in line with regulatory requirements
- Assist with account opening processes and liaise with service providers
- Ensure compliance with FICA/FAIS and internal policies
- Monitor and resolve discrepancies, escalating where necessary
- Respond to queries from Portfolio Managers and internal stakeholders
- Build strong relationships with external advisors
- Deliver high-quality administrative support across the team
- Assist with ad hoc duties as required
Requirements
- Matric (essential)
- 23 years experience in investment administration or financial services
- Strong understanding of FICA and regulatory compliance (FSCA)
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Proactive, solution-driven mindset
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
