Job Description
Our client, operating within the property management and rental administration industry, is seeking to appoint a reliable, organised, and detail-oriented Junior Property Coordinator to join their team based in Heriotdale, Johannesburg.
The successful candidate will provide administrative and operational support across tenant administration, customer service, maintenance coordination, and general office operations within a fast-paced property environment.
Requirements:
- Matric Certificate
- Strong administrative and organisational skills
- Good communication and customer service abilities
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Computer literacy with basic Microsoft Office knowledge
- Previous administrative or property-related experience advantageous
Responsibilities:
Administration and Office Support
- Perform general administrative duties and office support
- Assist with daily office coordination and operational tasks
- Monitor and manage office inventory and supplies
- Support the team during month-end and busy operational periods
- Ensure smooth day-to-day office functionality
Tenant and Property Administration
- Assist with processing rental applications received from agents
- Prepare proof of residence letters and subletting documentation
- Cross-check tenant statements before distribution
- Send welcome letters to new tenants
- Conduct onboarding follow-ups with tenants
- Assist with maintenance coordination and follow-ups
Customer Service and Communication
- Provide professional customer service to tenants and agents
- Respond to queries and provide administrative assistance
- Maintain positive relationships with tenants, agents, and service providers
