About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Solutions Engineer with a strong background in Industrial Engineering and software implementation to join our team in Port Elizabeth. As a key member of our technical support team, you will work closely with customers to analyse operational processes, implement digital tools, and drive measurable improvements in efficiency and productivity.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed site assessments to map current operational processes and identify areas for digitalisation.
- Assist in configuring, deploying, and testing software solutions according to customer requirements.
- Work closely with customers to gather functional requirements, conduct process reviews, and present solution proposals.
- Support customer teams in adopting new systems and processes, providing guidance and best practice recommendations.
- Deliver user training and develop supporting documentation to ensure smooth operational handovers.
- Provide ongoing technical and operational support to resolve issues and enhance solution effectiveness.
- Lead and participate in continuous improvement initiatives within customer environments.
Requirements
- Formal Tertiary education: Grade 12 Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or a related technical field.
- Project Management certification (advantageous).
- Languages: English – Read, write and speak (required).
- Drivers Licence: Code 8 (required).
