About the Role
The Maintenance Millwright will play a critical role in ensuring operational efficiency and minimizing downtime across all beverage-related processes in our Johannesburg site. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical and mechanical systems on production, packing, and site-wide equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair electrical faults on production, packing, and site equipment
- Maintain and upgrade electrical panels, wiring, sensors, and control systems
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues on beverage production lines, conveyors, pumps, motors, and packaging equipment
- Perform mechanical adjustments and replacements to maintain optimal equipment performance
- Conduct scheduled inspections and preventative maintenance on all electrical and mechanical systems
Requirements
- Registered Millwright certification
- Relevant N3/N4 qualification or equivalent in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 5-10 years experience in a beverage or FMCG production environment
- Experience with automated production lines and packaging machinery
- Proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex electrical and mechanical issues efficiently
Qualifications
- Registered Millwright certification
- Relevant N3/N4 qualification or equivalent in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering
- Matric (if not already mentioned)

Additional Information
- Full-time position with standby duty required after hours, weekends, and public holidays for emergency repairs or preventative maintenance.
