Job Summary
Hire Resolve is currently partnering with a leading FMCG company in Johannesburg to find an experienced National Sales Manager. As the National Sales Manager, you will play a key role in driving the sales strategy and achieving sales targets within the FMCG sector.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute national sales strategies to achieve business objectives
- Lead and manage a team of sales representatives across South Africa
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, distributors, and stakeholders
- Analyse market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities and threats
- Set sales targets and performance metrics for the sales team
- Monitor and report on sales performance and market intelligence
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, operations, and customer service)
- Develop and manage sales budgets and forecasts
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
Requirements:
- Years of sales management experience in the FMCG industry
- Proven track record of success in achieving sales targets and growing business
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to analyse data and make informed decisions
- Strong understanding of the South African FMCG market
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
- Experience in managing a team of sales representatives across multiple regions (advantageous)
- Knowledge of sales of vapes and other non perishables
