Johannesburg: National Sales Manger posted by Hire Resolve

Hire Resolve is currently partnering with a leading FMCG company in Johannesburg to find an experienced National Sales Manager. As the National Sales Manager, you will play a key role in driving the sales strategy and achieving sales targets within the FMCG sector.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute national sales strategies to achieve business objectives
• Lead and manage a team of sales representatives across South Africa
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, distributors, and stakeholders
• Analyse market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities and threats
• Set sales targets and performance metrics for the sales team
• Monitor and report on sales performance and market intelligence
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, operations, and customer service)
• Develop and manage sales budgets and forecasts
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures

Requirements:

• Years of sales management experience in the FMCG industry
• Proven track record of success in achieving sales targets and growing business
• Strong leadership and management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to analyse data and make informed decisions
• Strong understanding of the South African FMCG market
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
• Experience in managing a team of sales representatives across multiple regions (advantageous)
• Knowledge of sales of vapes and other non perishables
