Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Support reserving processes for quarterly and annual regulatory and IFRS17 financial reporting purposes.
- Assist in validating key reserving inputs for Group reporting and financial planning.
- Prepare and review reserve analyses and reports for various stakeholders.
- Engage with auditors and internal teams on IFRS17 and SAM audit-related matters.
- Contribute to ongoing data quality management and reserving methodology improvements.
Job Experience and Skills Required:
- Degree in Actuarial Science.
- Minimum completion of ASSA A1 & A2 Technical exams (or IFoA equivalent).
- 2–3 years of experience in non-life insurance, ideally within a reserving environment.
- Solid understanding of SAM valuation principles and short-term insurance reserving methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability, with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in MS Office (advanced), SQL, and Power BI; experience with ResQ advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
