Job Summary
Oversee timely and accurate month-end financial processing, with a focus on activities post the 24th of each month
Manage and review all balance sheet and general ledger reconciliations, ensuring compliance with internal controls and audit standards
Drive preparation and consolidation of annual budgets and ongoing forecasts aligned with business strategy and operational goals
Develop and maintain financial models and KPI dashboards to monitor performance, support variance analysis, and aid decision-making
Conduct thorough operational and cost analyses to optimize expenditure and improve financial results
Provide financial insights and modelling to support business expansion, including risk assessments and ROI evaluations
Collaborate with executive leadership and group finance teams on performance reporting, compliance, and strategic planning support
Skills & Experience:
Minimum of 6 years’ experience in a management or senior financial role
Proven expertise in budgeting, forecasting, executive-level reporting, and strategic financial planning
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modelling
Strong organisational skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
Knowledge of financial legislation and a commitment to continuous process improvement
Qualification:
Postgraduate qualification in Commerce, Finance, or related field,
CA(SA) with SAICA registration is advantageous.
