As Head of Finance, you will serve as a key member of the executive team, responsible for the full financial function of the operation. You will provide strategic financial direction, ensure robust governance and compliance, and drive commercial decision-making to support business growth and profitability. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the full finance function, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
• Provide strategic financial insights and partner with operational leadership to drive performance and cost optimisation
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, tax regulations, and all statutory requirements within the mining industry
• Oversee financial controls, risk management, and governance frameworks
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team
• Manage stakeholder engagement, including auditors, financial institutions, and board-level reporting

Job Experience and Skills Required:
Education:

• BCom in Accounting or related field (minimum requirement)
• Completed SAICA Articles (non-negotiable)
• CA(SA) qualification will be advantageous

Experience:

• Minimum 8–10 years’ post-article experience in finance
• Proven experience within the mining, resources, or heavy industrial sector
• Demonstrated leadership experience managing finance teams
• Strong background in financial reporting, compliance, and strategic finance

Skills:

• Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
• Strong Microsoft Excel and financial modelling capabilities
• Solid knowledge of IFRS and mining-related regulatory frameworks
• Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking ability
